There is this very loud and annoying high pitched whining noise coming from my hood. This happened only when the outside temperature is about 80F and after the truck has been driven for a while. The noise is very loud and can be heard at idle or while driving. I am almost pretty sure this is coming out of my intake.

I have had this problem since early summer. I took the truck to the dealer in August and of course they couldn't identify the problem. Now my warranty has expired with only 31,000 on my 2001 Screw. Any idea what I should do? What needs to be fixed?
