Question Lift, Tires, & Gears

Ok, I am planning on putting a 4" suspension lift on my 2001 4x4, 5.4L, w/3.55 when I get back from Iraq. So what I am wondering is if I put on the lift and 285/75-16's (BFG All-Terrain), will I need to regear my truck??? If so, how much does that cost??? And if I dont really need too, then how bad is it going to kill my MPG and other components??? (I dont Off-road it except during Hunting season) Thanks fellas

You won't have to regear, but it won't hurt. I'm running basically the same combo (5.4, 3.55 gears and 33's) and haven't regeared.
