I bought the truck in SC and live in NY. I have a plastic piece that is a holder for the plate but for the life of me I could not figure it out. I then looked at another F150 and sure enough the one I have is not the same type. Does anyone have one from a state that doesnt require a front plate and is willing to mail it to a fellow owner? One day I might be able to return the favor.

What, no local junkyards or dealers in the area? It would cost more to mail one then to buy one new.
