I got an underseat box from http://www.supercrewsound.com and in my opinion, it sounds awesome. It's stuffed with a JL Audio 10W3v2 10" sub, powered by a 350W Kenwood amp, all wired into the stock system. I like my setup and it was fairly inexpensive, and the box is out of the way...
Set on a Stealthbox????

I know you probably still have your eyes set on a JL Stealthbox and the problem w/you still fishing for one (I'm guessing) is that their probbably still too expensive for your tastes...
I was in you situation earlier this year as a local dealer wanted about $900 to install the Stealthbox and 4-channel Eclipse amp. That was too rich for my blood. Being a DIY'er, I did a lot of research on the matter and determined that I could get equivalent performance for A LOT less cost. With the help of a fellow F150online member, I was able to get a 10" sub under the rear 60 seat w/ amp for about a total cost of $200. ($70 for a RF sub, $110 for a MTX 2-Channel amp, & $20 for box construction material). To the say the least...I'm pleasantly happy w/ my sub setup as it gives the punch to the kick drums and bass guitar w/o vibrating everything loose.
If you're any good with a circular saw and some basic carpentry skills, you can build your own box!!! I prepped my construction plans for public distro and they can be had in PDF format at the link below:

To check out the pictures of the box in the cab (along w/ the other audio goodies) check out my Interior Pics...
Hope this helps,
Tony

TonyPTX,
I'm intrested in the instructions for the subbox, but when I click the link, I get nothing. I dropped you an email. Could you email those instruction to me. Thanks.
