My Truck Plans... Any Thought???

My Truck Plans... Any Thought???
As some of you might remember, I am selling my Bullitt and have replaced it with an 03 F150 Screw 4x4. It is black and currently rolling on 22 inch rims.
Well, my feeling is that a truck should be a truck, not a car (unless its a Lightning). So I plan on lifting my truck.
I am looking at Energy Suspension lifts. They have a 9" suspension lift that I would go with. I would need new tires and rims, but to save on price, I can just use the 22's that I already have. Toyo makes a 37x13.50R22 M/T tire that would fit my rims.
Now here is my question, how do you think this would look?
Here is a pic of my truck as it currently sits as well as the 22's I would use.
I just think a 4x4 is pretty much useless like this. So I want to do something like...
^This^ truck is same body style as mine, lifted 9inches on a 38" tire with a 22" rim (same size as mine).
So how does that look? Should I use what I have or just save awhile longer and get some 18inch off road wheels? Thank!

I think that raising it that high on your truck is a bit too high...Also your 22" wheels will not work...They maybe 22" but they are not the width the ones in your test picture are...So you may not be able to use that wide a tire on your rims...To me the truck looks like a truck and the wheels you have there are sharp looking...But its your rig ,your money and your opinion that counts...

Its wont fit??? Why not? The tire is 37x13.5 and my rim is 22x10. 13.5 will fit on a 10 inch wide rim. I know cause I have 335/30/18 pilot sports on my Bullitt rims which are 18x10. No fit probs.
I dont think 9 inches overall is too high really. For a 4x4 on 37's it looks pretty good in my opinion. 22's are my first choice, but I dont have the dough to buy the Weld Evo 18's I want right now... Thats for the future!
