squeking noise from back end

I have an interesting squeking noise coming from the suspension in the back, i'm not sure what it is, but i notice it when we go over bumps at low speeds. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is your truck an FX4? The Ford "Rancho" shocks will squeek when the plastic red boot rubs up and down on the shock. Mine does it, and others have reported it also.

I had the same problem i think. I could stand in bed and rock the truck to reproduce it. Mine souinded like it was coming from the space between bed and cab.
After a trip to my dealer, which couldnt figure it out, a can of wd-40 took care of it.

If you have the factory tonneau, the springs in the support bows squeak like crazy until you WD-40 them. Really annoying when you open rear slider.

Had the same issue and it turned out to be the tailgate lock assembly. WD-40 took care of it for six months, then it came back for more WD-40. Need to give it some lube oil. You may want to check this - mine sounded like a suspension noise too but it wasn't.
