I have a 2002 screw 4x4 FX4 with the 4.6L. just wondering what is normal for highway and city mileage.

I get about 15.5- 16 highway (thats traveling at about 75mph) (rpms about 2100 to 2200)

about 13-14 city.

This sound normal to everyone?

 

I have 4.6 4x2 and I get about 17 mpg highway and about 14-15 mpg city, but I try not to have a lead foot. What do u think of the 4.6?

 

I like the 4.6L. i had a 97 5.4 and the 2002 4.6 seems just as stout. I have had no problems with this truck and would buy the 4.6 again.
