Wiring questions/diagram needed??
OK, I am playing with crazy stuff on my truck again and want to know if anyone has any info. on why the factory wires run as they do and if it will affect anything to run them differently.
MY PLAN to put the homelink module either in the headliner beside the console or somewhere in the truck.
MY COURSE OF ACTION so far I have destroyed the sunvisor that I had in my Lightning and pulled the homelink module out. I have been told that the wiring needed is already tucked under the headliner somewhere(even though my truck does not have lighted mirrors).
I forgot to put the arrows on the last picture but the holes on each side of the text box is where the wires insert. My question(about time for that isn't it) is can I just cut and tape the wires off that come out of the homelink module or will that cause me some problems? Also, anyone got any cool places in mind to mount this thing?
