Uneven Bed

Does anyone elses bed appear to slant to the right. If you look at my truck where the cab and bed meet on the left side you can see about 1/4" below the window as you move along to the right the spacing closes and ends up flush if not a little above the bottom of the plastic. I'm thinking possibly a cab mount... wanted some input before I replace it.

tdub, when I picked up my 2001 Super Crew a few years ago, the crooked box was one of the first things I noticed. Apparently it is a common occurrence. I had the service mgr. take a look at it, and they ran it right into the shop. The tech loosened the bed mounting bolts, stuck a pry bar under the box, lifted it and slid a 1/4 inch spacer around the right rear bed mount bolt. He tightened everything back down and the bed was perfectly straight. It was an easy fix.

They had an assortment of spacers of different thickness.

As bad as I hate to say this, here goes...It's an American made vehicle, it's not going to be perfect. Mine has a similar problem with the bed I didn't notice until the first time I washed it. Between the bed and the cab down the sides of the truck, one side is closer than the other. I mean the gap is smaller. You can easily stick your hand in there to wash on the drivers side but the passenger is pretty snug. It is not noticeable to the naked eye and you can't notice anything by looking at the truck from straight on from behind, so I live with it. Oh well.
