Hopefully I can help clear up some of the confusion here. A Flareside does have the rubber capped side step up by the front of the bed. A Supercrew is not a Flareside (see picture below of a Flareside). They just have a similiar style of bed. The similarity is in the curved nature of the sides, not in having a side step up by the front of the bed. A Styleside has straight sides and uses a different type of taillight than the Supercrew or Flareside. The Supercrew and Flareside use the same taillights. A Lightning also uses the same size/shape of taillight. Its just a different look, sort of a Euro light style (you can see them in my gallery if your intersted). richgonfishn, the RT100072 lights you are looking at should fit with not problem. I guess I don't understand why the vendor would tell you anything else. If they have a return policy go ahead and buy them. I doubt if you will be sending them back because they don't fit. LOL

And in honor of the upcoming Superbowl, how bout these refs

Sweet!!

Thank you for clearing things up. I will order the RT10007 and will let everyone know how they fit. As far as bed styles... who cares, I just want the two ref's at my bedside. LOL

I just got my lights today, both the carbon fiber tails and the clear corners. I plan on putting them on this weekend so I will let you know how it all goes. I have done them on my last truck so I anticipate it will be easy. But then again, it never is.

Incidently, I am looking at selling my stock Ford chrome nerf bars off my '03 Screw. They are too bulky for my taste, I may look into the ones on the Harley which I know are just for looks. My truck is a 2wd so I don't really need the step to function, just to look cool. If anyone is interested let me know, I will also post this in the classifieds.

Angry

I received my order and opened the box and the lights are not made correctly. The area where the brake light goes has (2) openings and there should only be (1) opening. There are a total of (3) openings on the lights when there should ony be (2). One for the back up lights and one for the brake light...... Don't waste your time ordering this part........

I thought....

I thought there would be issues. If they'd fit every seller wouldn't be saying these will NOT work. I'm sure they'd make allot of money from Crew Cab owners, but they know their business and these will not work. I'm not sure what the difference is, but there is a difference between a regular cab and super crew. I think the super crew is it's own animal. Please let us know if anyone finds carbor lights that will work on a 2002 Super Crew 4x4. Thank you..

some trucks have the three lights but the two lights will still work. just tape up the extra break light hole.

Many after market items come standard to fit multiple applications. My Altezza carbon fiber tails are the same, they have 3 holes yet my Screw only has 2 lights. So I went eenie, meenie, minie, moe and picked one. Put the light in, left the tape over the other and all is good. As a couple of people pointed out you need a shorter screw for the bottom but it works great. I have the charcoal grey paint and the carbon fibers look SWEET!!!!!!

I have had problems with other aftermarket stuff such as my grille insert from Street Scene which in my opinion is a piece of crap. But the tail lights are pretty easy and worth the effort. I think if you give in and try to put them on you will be pretty satisfied with them.
