the first stock-floor body dropped Screw
Hey I think I might have the first stock-floor body dropped Screw on 22" rims. I'm almost done and ready to drive. How does it look so far?

Those tires must cost a mint.
It's looks like you put in alot of hard work and money in to your Super Crew.
Please don't take this question the wrong way...(Just a question)
I always wondered why would someone would want to drop their truck?
Not saying it's a bad idea dropping just I always like the fact that I could drive over curbs etc...
A truck like yours could park in those low parking garages!
Keep up the good work... I love the pictures. I should take a few of my truck. Although it's still all stock with no extras.....YET!

As I brace for the imminent barrage of flames......
Am I the only one who thinks that you just ruined a perfectly good truck?
Honestly, no offense is intended, but I share the opinion of my colleague above as to why one would want such a thing?

I'm just curious....
when going to an extreme drop such as this, it looks like you won't be able to turn the wheels very much at all, is that true?
and the ride height in the photos, is that what it'll be when complete? cuz I would think you'd need a road as smoothe as glass to drive on, in order to save the body from being scraped apart....
if it's gonna be a complete show truck, that is trailered and such, then I think it looks pretty cool....if this is gonna be a driver, woa....I don't think I'd have the heart to do it.
What are your plans for the paintjob?

Man your ride looks awesome I love the looks of it sitting on the ground. Go get a killer paint job and stero and you'll have that in a mag someday, Good Luck

welp...
It's interesting to say the least...
I can't understand why that is such a common thing to do in Florida and California. Before I looked at your profile, I said to myself, "Self, he must be in Florida or something."
While your work is very impressive and that is where my appreciation for your efforts lay, I always go back to the big question I have, which is "WHY???"
I guess I look at like this, lifting provides ground clearance, bigger or different tires provide traction or clearance as well, a drop spindle lowers the stance, I could on and on and you now what???
as I do, I realize that you are at that edge of the envelope.
Since you are at that edge of the envelope, I commend you..

It's definitely not for me though!
Take care,
Chris

whoa, wow didn't know so many folks would wonder why?
Why? prolly cuz stock is boring. I've had a couple of lifted trucks and I'm all for lifting them too but, that one guy hit it on the head.... To be on the edge of the envelope, whatever the most radical change could be!!! thats what I'm goin for
and for those curious about driving it, I have shocks on all four corners and it rides better and smoother than it did stock. I can lift or lower each wheel independently and the rear lifts up to be about 4" higher than it was at stock height and the front lifts to be a little higher than the fender lip so I can turn full L to R lock to lock. I'll put up more pics soon.... busy working on it right now.
thanks for the love yall , it's good to see peeps that don't agree but AREN'T HATERS.
