Rattle in 2002 Screw Dash

I have a rattle in the drivers side dash where the defrost vent is. i have had it in the shop twice to be fixed each time i leave its ok for a day or so and then its back. anyone else have this problem or has had this problem and what the fix is or may be....thanks

i also have a rattle that bothers the hell out of me...it sounds l;ike a rubbing of the dash and other plastic dash parts, maybe a screw or fastner...on the right side....it is very noticeable around freeway driving or any non smooth driving surfaces...

I had the same problem, but luckily found it. There is a little black sensor in the middle of the dash on the top side. When you are driving down the road and you here the rattle , reach up and put your finger on it and see if it goes away. Hope this helps

Mine ended up being the fuse box under the hood. It started after installing electric fans and I attached a wire underneath. A small piece of rubber wedged between it and the body , Presto noise gone.
