not another bedliner thread..!
o-k. did all the search criteria on the site and did not hear anything about 'ultimate linings'. big too-doo about rhino and line-x. i don't want to start a liner war here, but just have a few questions. i will probably go with a softer liner like rhino in the color red. i don't want something hard like the line-x, since i won't be using it to dump shovels or anything like. just my YZ250!! anyone heard of "ultimate linings" and i know that these liners tend to fade over time, but don't they have a special spray that is made for the liner that restores the sheen?

Heya Will,
Not sure exactly if you'd be interested in this type of liner and you may have already looked at them. But I thought I'd mention it, I've been lookin at them also and I think I'm kinda leanin towards a BedRug they just look damn clean installed and I have tonneau so it wouldn't be in the weather all the time. Just a thought for ya

i've seen them and they do look great. but the only thing that i will be putting in my rig is my bike bike. so being with all that, dirt, mud, i really don't want to vacumm it out all the time. plus with the tonneau, i would have to take it off all the time to put my bike in the back, and i don't mean a bicycle either. but yes, i thought about it, but just to much maintenence for me. thanks for the inputs, luke
re: bedrugs
fyi:
Bedrug is made of PLASTIC, even though it feels & looks like soft carpet.
Mud / Grease handles the same as spray in liner, you just spray it out with your hose. I use a tonneau with mine, but its not necessary. Maitenance is the same as spray ons.
So as far as looks, practicality, bedrug seems to be the best choice for the most people I would think. If you have ever had to help someone move furniture, Bedrug wont scratch the living hell out of furniture like sprayons, & actually it protects cargo much better. And if you use your truck for camping, sleeping in the bed, or tailgating, or have a dog, or kids who want to be in the back, they much prefer the "knee-friendly" Bedrug.
Spray ons are good too, no doubt about it. Whatever works best for your situation.
Hope this helps,
R

When it comes to spray on bed liners, you might look into Vortex.
Same material as line-ex but better texture. More custom features
too. I like the fact that it does not feel like sand paper. That tends
to sand everything you put in the bed. I got one on mine and love
it. Not to bad mouth other liner companies but I'm not impressed
with the durability on Rhino. Had one of those too & it seam to
dry out real fast & tear. From what I've been hearing out here in
Calif. Vortex is the toughest stuff on the market. Good luck!
