Question Musty smell in ventalation system?

I have an 02 Screw and was wondering if anyone else is having same problem as me with a "damp" almost moldy/musty smell coming out of the vents when turned on after the rain or snow falls? After the heat hits the vents it clears until it sits a while.

The Ford dealer never notices the smell even after it's sat in the lot for a couple hours, I'm looking for a cheap fix I can try myself to get rid of my troubles.

Shadow,

When I quit smoking, I cleaned the carpets, headliner, with Fabrize (sp?)...After the Fabrize smell went a way I was good to go, until I turned on the heater, then I got the old smoke smell...

To fix it I turned on the Heater/AC fan to high, and went outside the truck and sprayed Fabrize directly in the air inlets infront of the windshield by the windshield wipers...

...After the fabrize smell went away in a couple of days...no more musty smoke smell

Peace
Willfulone
