I purchased a used 01 S-crew. I has a cellphone antenna mounted on the windshield, on the passengers side. To coax for the antenna is running behind the molding down the side then under the dash. I was wondering if I could put my CB in and use this antenna instead of mounting a CB antenna? Will I get any coverage from the antenna? Will it work at all?

 

You could connect it, but it probably won't work worth a darn. CB's need tuning to reduce the SWR (standing wave ratio) down to as close to 1.0 as possible. My guess is that cellular antenna you have would be very difficult, if not impossible, to tune.
