Question Mud Flaps

Does anyone have Ford factory mud flaps on their Screw?

Looking for pictures of a Screw with factory running boards and mud flaps before I decide to spend the money to purchase them and want to know what they look like.

Seen Websites that show mud flaps with running boards but they do not show an entire truck view and any members who might have pics would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Keith460

Keith460,

Mines a 2002 with factory running boards, but I put aftermarket Husky flaps on. If you need a better picture, I can get one up later, just holler.

Keith, I have a 2003 Supercrew FX4. I had the dealer put the contured factory mudflaps on. If you get em don't go down any dirt roads. The rear flaps suck. My rear 1/4 panels looked like they had the measels. I spent awhile touching up many paint chips. I would suggest getting aftermarket mudflaps from a truck accessory place. I believe my new ones are 12x15. THere the black rubber fiberglass reinforced kind that say "FORF, Built FOrd Tough" on them. I paid $41. installed. I have not had a problem since then with em. Best of luck to ya.

I agree, the OEM molded mudflaps are useless. Wish I had not put them on.

Thanks Guys

I guess from what I've read, I'll be looking into getting the Husky brand mudflaps as they seem to be popular.

Hey Smithy, do you have any pics of the Ford factory mudflaps or are they just like the Huskys?

Thanks

I want to put some Husky brand flaps on my truck too. The Ford OEM ones I had on my old F-350 were useless and they didn't come with the clear protective film to put between the flap and the paint. Not good, Mav.

I have the "nerf bar" style running boards on my truck. From the looks of the pictures on the Husky web site, the front flaps that are designed to accommodate running boards will fit but I don't think the nerf bar style goes as far forward as regular running boards do. I was wondering if the ones that are for trucks without running boards would look better. Anyone know?

I just put the Husky's on and I like them alot. The fit is excellent. I have been thru a few mud pits since and they perform very well.

Wombat,

When you order the Husky's they will ask you whether you have "factory running boards" and whether you have "factory flares".

I have Westin's and factory flares. I can send a pic if you want.
