Last night sometime some a$$h*le Egged my screw, the tailgate is done, needs to be painted, round circles at the point of impact if I had caught them I would have had the prosecuted to the fullest, that should be 1 to 5 years Jail time and/or 25,000 fine with payout to the victim

Sorry to hear about your situation messman. I might suggest taking it down to a reputable body shop or detail shop in your area first thing in the morning to see what they might be able to do short of having to have it repainted.

There are alot of great chemicals on the market that feature abrasion and chemical agressivness that might be able to be used, along with a buffer in the right hands, to solve your problem. I have a hunch that this would be cheaper than the repaint route as well.

Best of luck and let us know how it turns out.

I hear ya on the "going to jail if I catch them"

Yeah, I agree with RP. Talk to a body shop that might be able to buff it up and pull out the dents with suction cups. Might be a minimal repair.

My dad drives a Peterbilt and was hauling a load last week late at night (about 1 am) and some kids that were coming the other way on a two lane road threw a coke bottle or coke can or something through the windshield of his truck. There was no way that he could identify the vehicle and there was no way for him to try and turn around to get them. He was lucky that he was wearing his glasses because there were glass shards everywhere inside the truck. As well as the syrup from the coke.
