New "L" 3rd Brake Light
You know that's a downright disgrace puttin' a Jr sticker on a Ford product. What a shame.
No matter what brand you drive or support you either luv the Earnhardts or hate em, you know where I stand! I"m a Jr. Fan and Ford Man
I have a "L" brake light to sell
If anyone is interested, I have one of the LED light assembly that I had on my 01 SCrew that I'd like to sell. I bought it new for $100 and it was on the truck for a little over 2 months before the truck was destroyed in a roll-over a couple of weeks ago. It was one of the few things that survived the wreck, and once I got a chance to wipe the dust off, it looks to be almost like new. There are some very light scuff marks on the top, but they are barely visible, and you can't see them unless you are standing in the bed of the truck looking at the top of the light assembly.
I took the easy way out when I installed it. I left the original wiring harness in place, and snipped the wires to the OEM brake light. I removed the new harness and cargo light bulbs, and snipped the wires to the LED brake light. I put spade connectors on the snipped wires, plugged them together, put the cargo lamp sockets back into the new brake light ***'y.
Anyway, it is laying on my work bench taking up space, and it won't fit the 2004 that I have on order, so I would like to get rid of it. The first person to offer $57.50 can have it. (that weird price includes shipping via UPS-excluding HI and AK)
I will reconnect the wires (solder and heat-shrink tubing) if you want me to so you can just unplug your existing harness, or I can leave it like it is and all you need to do is remove the cargo light sockets, snip the two wires going to your brake light, crimp on two spades plug the wires together, pop the sockets into the LED light ***'y and you are good to go.

Well, got my third brake light in yesterday. It wasn't to bad - took about 30 minutes because I ended up taking off more parts than needed to get to the wiring. On my Screw all I really needed to do was pull the two headliner buttons at the back of the headliner and, since I have a rear slider, I could pull the headliner down far enough to see the connection and reach up and make the disconnect. On my truck the connection is at the rear, just left of center. Based on earlier discussions in this thread I had already removed the dome light in anticipation of needing to go through there to get to the connection but this was not neccessary. The end results are that it looks great and I'm glad I made the change. While I was at it Saturday I had a Maganaflow dual out cat back exhaust installed and I installed an Airforce 1 intake and lightning tails and corners. As soon as I can run the gas tank down and refill with premium I am going to use the Superchips tuner also.
try here i beleive they have the best prices around. i think their under 100 with shipping.
