I never thought of doing that to get the water off the truck. I live in Texas and the truck is always in the garage (even during the flood of '02). I have had a truck wash service (as part of the incentive package from the dealer) when I bought the truck, so I've only washed it once by hand...that was a painful experience. As if the washing wasn't bad enough, the drying was a major pain! Thanks for the tip and I'll let you know how it turns out.
