Gap between hood and grille surround

On my new truck, I think there seems to be too large of a gap between the edge of the hood and the top of the grille surround. I lowered the adjustment screw things all the way down, but that didnt do anything. The sides are level with the fenders, its just the front thats the problem.

Here's what it looks like;

It doesn't look too obvious in a picture, but its really noticable in person. I parked next to another F150 today, and the other guys truck didn't have the gap. I guess when I go back to the dealer to replace my taillight, I'll see what they can do about that.

From the picture, it doesn't look like anything out of the normal...

From my perspective, the fit of the Supercrew (at least the 2001) is by no means perfect - but it is a good enough truck (plus there was NO competition when I bought mine) that I will let it slip...

The Hood could be set to far back... see if there is room to slide foward this should close up the gap.
