Hi all, my wife and I are expecting our first baby. WIth this event the little woman is unable to get into and out of my 03 Screw FX4 Lariat anymore without difficulty. Currently I do not have any type of running board or tube installed and she gave me the go ahead to get some. If I don't she has threatened me with having to drive her Volvo S40 everywhere we go as a couple. Fellas I'd much rather drive my truck!! I don't want a tube and would like the board to be lighted. I'll probably step over them but she needs to be able to get a good foot-hold on them when getting in or out of the truck. What do all of you recommend? Looks of the board are also a concern, gotta look good.

 

I have the Owens running boards they are not lighted, see my sig. for pics and links.

The KingRanch boards have lights in them.

I really like the looks and functionality of the lighted bars on my '03 King Ranch. Maybe a little bias, but I really think they look better than the boards.
