Amsoil S2k 0w-30

Because with a by-pass filter I only change out 3 quarts a year rather than the whole sump.

oil

Don't worry about the post. I run Amsol synthetic oil in my screw. I ran it in my Chevy truck for 9 years it is more expensive but I do not need to change it for 7000 miles. Since I tow a boat I think the synthetic oil in the long run will benefit me in a big way.

It pains me to say this, (as I own a Valvoline Express Care), I'm using Amsoil 5w20 in mine; as Valvoline hasn't gotten off their butts to make it in SynPower yet.
Currently they only offer 5w20 in AllClimate (conventional), and in DuraBlend (semi-synthetic) (which is only available in bulk/drums now).
I would highly recommend to anyone who has a vehicle under warranty to use a 5w20 product -- or face the dreaded "you failed to follow manufacturer's recommendations" which could/will void your warranty if you have a problem.
Ford has even jumped onto the bandwagon and has issued a TSB which now shows 5w20 as the recommended oil for most Fords 95 & newer.
Basically, Ford & Honda are using 5w20 to meet their CAFE requirements for MPG as a vehicle manufacturer; we've been told that 5w20 will achieve an average of .5 MPG better versus 5w30. Which when you're producing a hugh amount of vehicles that's quite a bit of savings.
I'd also urge anyone to use either a Semi-Synthetic, or a full Synthetic oil to provide better protection for your engines !
