Clarion Powered Sub-FM signal distortion

Hey all,

I have searched way back but can't find the post I am looking for. It deals with the fix for the fm signal distortion when the clarion camo sub is hooked up. Does anybody remember this? Any help is appreciated.....Thanks, Shawn.

Good Luck milf, I tried it and fixed the problem to some degree, still have a bit of static pop from time to time on stations that were crystal clear before, oh well the trade off is well worth the agony.

Strange I've got the Clarion camo sub in my 2001 SCrew, and I don't get the radio station problem. Got it connected into the wiring with the factory premium HU and 6-disc changer. A friend of mine that does stereo and other installs like this for a living did it for me. I guess he must have done it right, but I didn't see him do anything special with the ground wires. Here's pics of it (completed install) in my truck - https://www.f150online.com/galleries...w.cfm?num=4502.
