Possible Break In....
I got up this morning and went out to my truck to notice that my drivers door handle wasnt flush with my door like normal. Upon closer inspection it looks like someone took a screw driver, pried it from the bottom of the handle assembly and tried to pop out the handle and everything. Now its a bit bent out from my truck. Its not terribly noticable but i take very good care of my things and notice everything that is different/wrong. This either happened at my work where its parked from 6am till 2pm or at the gym. Both are crowded parking lots, with people coming and going, who would have thought! Does this sound like a typical break in on our trucks? Can you get in by this method on our trucks that easily?
I have a nice stereo in my truck and my cds were in their, thats what i think they may have been after. My cds now will stay in my house, other than whats in my cd changer. Im going to have red LED's put in my door right near the locks on the passenger and driver doors to make it look like i have more of an alram than i actually do. Hopefully this will help the cause a little bit, anything is worth a shot. But i got lucky this time and hopefully this doesnt happen again.

If you don't have any tool marks on the door handle I doubt someone tried to break in. Most thieves know to bust the lock out with a screwdriver. The F-150 door handles have a tendency to bow at the rear, and you will "suddenly notice" them in certain light. Isn't it funny how a plastic hamburger box will still be around in 500 years, but a vehicle door handle can "bio-degrade" a week after you make the last payment?
