The Leveling / driving light Mods -- help

Bare with me..... 2 Questions....Has any one here done the leveling mod and ended up bottoming the drivers side adjusting screw? The Passenger side is approx 1 1/4 turns from bottoming. This was done to an 02 4x4, not off road or fx4. Is there a difference in the adjusting bolts between these models, a suspension change or something else? I Did this only to level it. Back measurment is 32 3/4". brought front from 29 1/4" to 32 1/4". OK, so I'm only half an inch off..... But a half is a half is a half....Has anyone else seen this before???? Do they sell longer bolts??? Would like to get this done before moving to the driving light switch mod. And can that be done on a standard light switch instead of one with the auto lights setting??? Are the pin configurations and wire connections the same between them????. Thanks for the help. Not new to the mechanics of this, just new to the mods of this stuff...

I have much less room on the driver's side of my 02 FX4 bolt also. I do not think I would try using another bolt. Increasing it much further would decrease the angle of the CV shafts and cause excess wear. I am trying to decide whether to even go all the way on the driver's side bolt or not. I don't think any of the torsion bar adjustments are even though.

Your not alone on the drivers side torsion bolt issue. I ran into the same scenario. I then used the drivers side to base my turns on 4 on drivers no more than 4 on passenger. It ended up being pretty darn close to level but stopped there. 5 turns would have been a bit excessive i think and would have bottomed the drivers side out....hope this helps

On the fog light mod, yes this can be done to a standard switch mechanism, as I did too mine.
