4.6L Owners (Miles & Problems)
4.6L owners-
If you don't mind sharing, please update this page with how many miles your 4.6L V-8 powered vehicle has on it, and what type of engine problems, if any, you have had with it.
1999 SuperCab Flareside- 25,000 miles None
2000 Expedition XLT Sp- 34,000 miles None
2001 SuperCrew XLT- 25,000 miles Dirty Oxygen Sensor tripped check engine light. Replaced. No other trouble.

30000 - 4R70W shudders in 3rd and OD under load at low RPMs
9/7/3: Turned out to be a bad coil on #5 plug. Replaced coil and truck performs great!

2002 SCrew, 15K miles, sido catback Gibson exhaust + AF1 intake, commuter vehicle, travel solo, with occasional light hauling, No engine problems so far.
However, with intake and exhaust, engine idles slightly rougher because now it idles at lower rpm. At least the mods "look and sound good."
