Thumbs up 03 FX4 Screw

Just bought an 03 white XLT FX4 Screw for $27500. I really like this truck and hope to be driving it untill the wheels fall off. ( a long time) Any tips, tricks or info will be appreciated! I honestly dont plan on doing anything more than a bed liner and tint. It looks great!! IMHO its (all Screw 4x4's) Fords nicest looking F-150 package ever.......... uhhhhh along with the Lightning of course I still got a soft spot in my heart for the L

S'crew

I have to agree with you about "best package"! My '02 probably suits my needs better than any vehicle I've owned. I walked out of "Wally-World" today and counted no less than six S'crews, in 2wd & 4X4. The '04s I've seen around here make me think "the run will continue!".

Congrats on the new wheels. Don't know if it is feasible for you, but I like my Bedrug an awful lot.

Man... I really wish that they'd make the bedrug in a 'beige' color. I really want one but I just can't give up the beige bedliner for black... not with the tan bedrails. I just like the look too much.

5.4-FX4, that is a soft tonneau made by Downey Products. Had it over a year and is still tight.

Hey 5.4, didn't get pics of top yet. I have a Downey Products/Silver Edition.
I had an Extang but it started getting very loose after a year. Also on the Extang the clips stay on the rails when you remove the top. Someone stole my clips. I have no complaints after a year with Downey.

I got a sliding tonneau for my 02 King Ranch. I love the versatility and it has held up very well. See Roll-N-Lock's website for a photo and schematic of it's construction. Mine's manual, but you can get a powered option.
