2003 FX3 Rust Starting On Bumper

2003 FX3 Rust Starting On Bumper
I have a 2003 FX3 Supercrew. the truck only has 9,000 miles on it. The truck has never seen snow or salt yet, and is kept clean all the time. When i was washing it today i noticed a small rust spot in the corner of the chrome bumper near the plate. This is the same spot that my 1998 F150 rusted but not untill it had 100,000 miles on it. Anyway does anyone known if my Warranty should cover this, before i bring it back to the dealer?

The appropriate way for me to answer this is that the dealer should take care of any concern that you may have in this matter. I do not think that there should be any rust present anywhere except the brake rotors on that new of a truck.
The smarta$$ answer would be that it could be because they sold you a FX3 instead of a FX4. I think that the extra digit takes the rust protection and warranty into account.

Yes, it's a warranty issue. Take er' back. Get a new bumper.
