Well, it happened to my truck today Came home from driving, and was unloading and noticed a slight hissing... thought it was the engine cooling off until it started to get louder, so I went over and guess what? It was the tire There was a tiny peice of metal (it wasn't sharp either) so needless to say I got it up to the flat street on the double so I could replace the tire.
It didn't take very long to replace though, much less than I had expected.

oh and a side note, The tire only had about 16,000 miles on it, so it had a lot of tread left still.

Lucky for you you that you didnt get that flat sooner. I got my first flat one weeks after I got it. A flat when the odemter read 98.7 miles.

I got lucky! Took it to Tire King and they patched the tire free cause I was a regular there!
