I hooked a couple of 3' adjustable bungee cords across my bed extender. Perfect for securing gas cans, propane tanks, small coolers, towels, radio flyer wagons, etc...

As you can see, I use the extender all the time. MOST of the time, it is positioned inside the bed with tailgate up.

Have a Great Day!

Mine comes in pretty handy. I have a cover on my bed, so I occassionally use the "extra" open space with the extender to carry those tall items that don't fit under the cover. Also used it to tie my pups leashes to when they get too rowdy out in the parks.

Chin up bar....its now hanging from the ceiling of my stroage unit. It didn't work when I installed my A.R.E. top.

You could turn it into a musical instrument and you could be a "True Blue" Man Group.

It makes a great camping seat after you unload all your gear. Surprisingly comfortable.
