I have found that if you hold the trip odometer switch in while turn the key to the on position (don't start it ) and then release it when it says test it will go through a series of tests on the vehicle. Can any one tell me what tests are taking place, and what all the test mean.

As for the DTC that shows, don't worry about the number 5284, this is a non oil pressure indication by the HEC, without the engine running.
