You can download a Ford Accessories catalog from this link.

On page 16 are the tonneau covers. They do have a snapless one for the SuperCrew.

I might recommend that you go with a brand name aftermarket cover though... I've heard of several folks with the Ford OEM cover complaining about leaks.

Just FYI.

I've never used the Ford cover so I can't help provide any insight on how well they work. I have the Access Roll Up cover on mine. Actually it is on it's 4th year and still looks like new. I had it on my first S'Crew and transferred it to my latest. It is very easy to open and close and has a tension adjustment so it is always tight when closed. Also has an inside clip that keeps it from being opened without opening the tailgate first. I think they are priced around $500.

That's my 2 cents...

I'd second Rockpick's suggestion. I've also heard of problems with the OEM Ford covers. In addition, Ford charges significantly more for them than if you bought a good aftermarket tonneau. As an example, I bought a Sportmasters tonneau for less than $200 and it hasn't leaked yet and fits my truck really well. In addition, I feel the manufacture quality on it is equal to or better than the OEM cover. Obviously the final decision is yours. Just my $.02.

Thanks, I read that post. So if I've got it right, that cover is somewhat like a fiberglas hard tonneau but made out of something like an ABS plastic? I'm not real big on hard tonneaus, so what's the big selling features of the Undercover unit (i.e. why would you select it over a fiberglas tonneau or a soft tonneau)? Just curious......

Bed Cover

I have the Extang cover. Less than $200 from Ramchargers. Aluminum rails "touchless mounting" so I can take it off later and leave no holes. Vinyl black cover with double sewn plastic extruded clips all around. Three aluminum supports. Kids can walk around on it. Lifetime warranty.

The Undercover offers all the advantages you would expect from a hard tonneau such as security, and protection from the elements, no drill installation, over the bedrail design.
The 2 big advantage over the fiberglass:
1) is that it is about 1/3 or 1/2 the cost of fiberglass, and
2)weighs like only 55lbs. It is still basically a 2 person job to remove, but the weight makes it so easy. It comes with hooks to hang the cover on your garage wall when not using. The weight is a big factor if for example, your wife weighs like 98lbs and asking her to help removew a fiberglass, would be impossible. But with the light weight of the Undercover my wife can actually help me take it off if necessary.

The last thing, I think it looks better than most of the fiberglass ones I have seen (I am sure some people will disagree this point).

Thanks for the feedback Ryan. The Undercover does look good and the lesser weight is a good thing. Still not sure if it would work for me (I do to much regular hauling of big stuff), but it's nice to know there are additional options available.

Another hard top option

Another option to consider would be an Access Cover. It's a two panel cover for Screws that will allow you to haul taller stuff versus a full hard top. Only thing is that it doesn't look at good as a one piece. The prices I've been seeing are in the $500 range so it's cheaper than a fiberglass lid. There are a couple of old threads on this site that have pictures.

Good luck....
