Undercover

Just thought I would drop a note, I hacked out a deal with Eric from www.truck-bed-covers.net for a Screw cover for $579.00 delivered to a buisness.

This is so under what I bought my first one for, he said to pass it on, he will work this deal for just about anyone...

dblg

It gets here on Thursday! Woo Hoo!

Not a problem, this is my second Undercover, (my last Screw and cover got totaled) and I payed $635.00 for it...

Defiantly worth the look.

Is the cover as easy to take on and off and handle as they claim? I like the fact that you can place things on top of it without hurting it. I was planning on actually mounting a rack with bike carriers on it. I cant find another cover out there that looks as good as the undercover. What are your likes and dislikes? Sorry for all the questions...I havent seen one in person and just want to make sure they live up to the claims. Thanks!

I have had one for 2 1/2 years and really like it. I can take it off and put it on by myself, with little difficulty. It only weighs about 50 pounds.

My only complaint is the brackets that go on the bed rail, they did not seem to use a good finishing process, as the paint has flaked off and some rusting has started.

Overall, I think this is a very good product. It fits great and is watertight.

Agreed the bracket have a way of rusting I spoke to Ray from Undercover and he said he paints his on a regular basis I am not into that...

The cover can be taken off by one person, not the absolute easiest but can be done. I also wanted to put a bike rack on it originally, but Undercover did not recommend it. (drilling, and a clamping system just isn't available, believe me I looked!) So I will get a rack for the cab of my Screw.

It is weather proof as all get out, and there have been some design changes since I got my first one, so I am looking forward to it.

The look is excellent, I just love the thing...

I noticed you're from Baltimore. Acres Truck Supply (Timonium Road) has them also. I called last autumn and was quoted $575 (I think) and $625 installed. You can find their number on the retailer listing from the Undercover website.

Once you get it, and if you find away, let me know how you did it! I have toyed with custom brackets, even using the trialer hitch for a tail platform. It just hasn't worked yet...

I have bugged Ray at Undercover for a rack system for it, nothing yet, but I will keep trying

Thank you Noah'sDad! I called them and they have one in stock for $575. May be getting my cover sooner than I thought.

GivingGround, Ill definatly let you know if I can figure something out. Let me know if Ray comes up with brackets or some other way of attaching a rack to the cover as well.

I've had the undercover on my SCrew for a little over a month and I am positive that it is the finest on the market.
