Ahhhh cable modem coming soon!
Yeah, I was starting to worry about you.

Did you get the adjustment tool? If you haven't done it yet, mind you, a couple of turns on the *TOP* adjustment post will raise it big time. I raised mine, what I thought was a little, then started getting bills in the mail for skortched retinas from fellow drivers.

Since, I've lowered them back down such that they extend farther out and I'm not causing permanent blindness to those around me.

Yep, I got the adjustment tool this past Friday. Of course I have not gotten a chance until today to check it out.

I raised them up a bit. I have yet to check them in complete darkness. As soon as I do, I will let u know!

Its nice to hear you burned out some retinas with these things! Oh I mean that you lowered em a bit to not burn retinas!

I'm serious. Just a few turns on that upper post will REALLY raise the lights substantially...

I had cars diving off the road, people flashing their lights at me, cussing me, flipping me the bird, donning their sunglasses at 11pm, and having multi-car pile ups; just to name a few scenarios. I definately had them aimed too high... it was nothing short of blinding. LMAO!

Rockpick,

Thanks for the laughs man, I really needed them this morning!

I know what you mean about raising them too high, I noticed that when I was adjusting them. I did not go out last night, so I will have to wait and see as they say.

I adjusted mine pretty much back to stock aiming (I think). I backed my truck up about 25 feet away from my garage when I was installing the Xenarc's. I turned on the stock (YELLOW) lights and marked it on the wall with some tape.

Yesterday I moved my truck to the same spot, and aimed them to match the tape lines that have now been there for a few weeks!

Hopefully that will be all, but the true test will be if I start burning out retinas or get people flashing me, I will have to re-adjust.

Thanks again for the tip on that tool, it works like a champ!

No problem bud. Glad it worked out well for you... I knew you'd like them. I haven't heard of a soul out there that hasn't raved about them since installation.

They're nothing short of.... ahhh, nevermind.

HAHAHA! Yup... they're awesome.

I bet you wish you'd spent the $800 on them when they first came out too don't you? LOL!

The funny thing about this is that alot of people haven't had the experience with the Xenarcs and can't comprehende why we're so 'gung-ho' about these things...

I agree. I was a bit skeptical too at first, (as you know). But now that I have them, I cant figure out why I waited so long!

They are AWESOME!

I have been in a car that has the HID lights and its unbelivable. I love them! If the price comes down a bit more I may seriously consider them and then make my AUX driving lights long range lights or get the #@$* out of my way lights.

dcovell,

One thing to note that the Xenarc HID Aux lights that are available are not a direct replacement for the stock bulbs. You'll have to remove the stock housing (aka: foglight housings) and install these. From what I understand, it's not a simple task. I further understand that you'll have to custom fabricate mounting brackets as they don't really come with brackets that are specifically for the F150.

If you're going to get Xenarcs, get the full housing set for your headlights.

I'm not sure if he has any pics but, user dufunnel has both heads and aux xenarcs. I'm sure they glow and light up the night but, I'd like something that looks just a tad more stock.

Rockpick,

I agree about keeping things looking 'stock' if you will.

Geez, I did not realize what a PITA the HID fogs were to install!?

Whats up with that?

Not sure... but, from the sounds of it, it's a HUGE PITA to put the Xenarc Aux lights in...
