Don't like mag mounts

They tend to scratch the paint, as for routing there are rubber plugs in the floor pan, find the one that meets your needs and pop it out run the wire though the hole and plug then reinsert.

The through the glass lose to much transmission and if you run any power on the radio it will burn it up.

As for antennae mounts I used a plate under the rear bumper, here's a pic, it looks straight now that I've cleaned it up but don't have a recent pic.

AS for the radio mine is currently between the drivers and passenger sides of the seat in the crack, don't like it there it's handy but don't like the look.

JC Whitney has a split shelf that I've been eyeing, won't block the over head console and temp/compass. If I get it I'll post pics, if you get it 1st let us know how well it works.

crawl under

your truck, there is one by the door pillar next to the drivers seat, make a small straight line cut in the padding and carpet so if you change location you'll never see it, or pull carpet loose to the edge.

If I were to do it....

I would get two antennas and put then where the bed rails go near the cab of the truck. As for the actual radio I would either try to mount it in the dash flush somewhere or inthe center console wher eteh black cup holders are I would mount it flush there.
