try it yourself its quite easy :-D

Well, i tinted my windows on my truck myself.. They are Very nice. but it took a few tries.. i have 2% on my back window.. and 20% on my sides. 20% isnt legal here in tx but cops dont mess with me or anyone with any illegal tint for that matter.. but some cops do, just depends on what kind of cop he/she is or something. Usually happens in the small towns :-/ anyway.. tinting windows on an f150 isnt really that hard.. just dont do it when the wind is blowing or when theres lots of pollen in the air or you will have little dust like dots all over ur window.. be sure to get razor blades to clean the window too. and other then that its just good to always try it for yourself before u take it somewhere and spend tons of money getting it done. as long as you have somewhat of a basic idea on how to tint the window you shoudlnt have a problem.

I just had the front two windows on my Screw tinted to 20%. They match pretty well from the outside to the rear windows, but looking out from the inside--the front windows are darker then the rear. I still wish they were a bit darker though.

Later this week, or this weekend I will probably get the rear windows tinted to 10%.

Oh, and about that "required" tint sticker in the state of Florida... I've never heard of or seen such a thing. I didn't get one when I tinted my truck.

Thank God I'm not the only one that hasn't heard of or seen the sticker.

DjThomas, looks like he's from Orlando or Central Florida. Thats a badass truck, but I dont think I'd want to do anything like that to mine... not my style.

I just want to get into 13's (maybe 12's... hmm) within a year or so (funds permitting, still hurting over buying it!)

Its going to be a learning experience for me.

What brand where?

What brand and where can you buy it for self installation?

I hear that 3M or LLumar in (metalized) is the best, but where can you buy it? O'Rielly auto told me that they carry "Guila" brand but dont know if that is good, and hav'nt gone by anywhere yet to compare at NAPA, Auto Zone, or O'Rielly?

One site on laws says TX has to be "B" (Blue) in color to be legal, and at 35%? another site says 25%?
