You can do a search on the thread, but the mod is just buying some 22 inch wiper blades instead of the standard ones and installing them. About a 2 minute job and a larger swipe of clean window in the rain or snow. Works great!

If your in a non-snow area, put on 24" blades. I did it to mine and the only problem I've seen is on wet heavy snow, the 24" blades don't have enough pressure on the end of the passenger side blade and the snow builds up. I'm not changing them though....I really like the larger view.

I am using 22" Anco Teflon blades. Nice coverage, no squeaking, and easy install. Cheapest and best mod yet. They should come with 22"s

I use Trico 24/22" blades

That's 24" on the drivers side and 22" on the passenger side and I like them. Next time I might try Bosch MicroEdge Excell blades suggested by someone else here in the forum.

Maybe someone else had good luck with the Bosch... not me. I bought a pair for my 1998 Explorer (since traded) and those things weren't worth the rubber that they used to manufacturer them with.... AWFUL wipers. They skipped, smeared, and I had nothing but AWFUL luck with them.

I think I'll have to stick with the old stand by's... Anco or Trico.

Anco 22's on there for a month, so far no streaking or squeaking.

I have the Trico Teflon blades and they chatter while wiping the drivers side I have swithed sides and even both pairs but the drivers side still chatters. I tried the Bosch Micro Edge and they do better but seem to miss more spots near the edges then the Trico's did. I am going back to try the non Teflon Trico and see how they do

The post about them sounded so good I thought I'd try them. Thanks - Sounds like I should just stay where I am. Mine don't chatter, squeak, skip, or anything bad. I guess I'll just stay where I am.

Try these:

A bit pricey but worth it since they last forever!

Says they last for 5 years... not too shabby but, not forever $20 per is kind of harsh but, on the flip side, you're going to spend that EASY over a period of 5 years....

Hrrm... these might be an option in BLACK ON BLACK... nothing with fancy colors for me.

Hey Rockpick,

Yeah I guess I should have said 5 years is forever! LOL.. sorry about that.

I have two friends of mine who swear by them. One in the northeast (snow) and one on Hawaii (hot sun and salt water). They tell me these things are awesome.

I plan on getting a pair soon. If I get mine first, I will post back with the results.

Yeah, let us know Jag. I'm really interested. I know I'll have this truck for the next 5 years (and then some) and thus, I'm interested in how they perform.

Thanks for the link.
