I did the 22'' blade thing too!! I got mine at Walmart for a low low price some thing like $2.89 each. It seems to work pretty well too.

Anco AeroVantage 24" driver and 22" passenger. The 24 on the passenger side hung over too much for me. These are great for rain or very light snow, but they suck while driving in heavy snow. These blades ice up faster than any I've ever had before.

rain ? snow?

Rain??? Snow??? What is all this talk?
The only time I ever turn on my wipers, is to do an initial
wipe of the window after I have washed my truck.

God, I love Arizona!

Talking Rain-X

Hasn't anyone heard of Rain-X?? I have used it for years and still swear by it. Dont have to use my wipers at all. EVER. Sometimes the windshield gets dirty, but other than that, my blades dont get used. I live in San Antonio...it doesnt rain too much here, but when it rains, it pours, it floods. I swim to work sometimes anyway, im going to get some oversized blades too, just because. Also, i have tried the new anti-fog by rain-x...takes out the fog on the inside of your windshield, even when you have the panel heat on...no more need for defrost....man, almost sounds like i work for rainx!! lol....

i use rainx too even though it rarely rains in Los angeles. I did it just to make the windows easier to wipe but it did rain one time it was great. I was going down the freeway at 75 in pouring rain. Everyones got the wipers on full blast and i hadnt even bother to turn em on, its a pain to apply sorta but it was definately worth it.

You can buy it just about anywhere. WallyHell, K-Mart, any parts store.... it's everywhere...

Cost is around $3-$4/bottle. It's cake to use and, like they said, it works great.

Only bad thing about it that I've found, it doesn't do well in a 'mist' situation or, for example, when the roads are wet and it's not raining (ie: spray from other vehicles). Other than that, it's great stuff. I have a bottle in my aresonal of car products.

Does it make your wipers skip when you turn them on? Because I have had that happen before Im going down the road at like 60 I really have no need for the wipers but when I do turn them on they just skip and dont really do anything.

But I guess I'll make my way out and try and find some. I really need the fog stuff.

Man I got this stuff a few hours agot and put it on...my neighbors were kinda like wtf since it looked like I was cleaning my window at 9 at night. Then I sprayed my windshied with water and drove down the road and I must say wow....Im a believer now

I also got the aint fog stuff Im going to put it on tomarow or next time I clean the truck.

Whats the wax you guys alaways talk about? Is it blue and cost about 12 bucks? I think it was like Zimole or something like that hehe...

Also has anyone tried the spray on wax that just just spary on when your drying the truck? if so how does it work?

The blue stuff you're referring to is Zymol. But a lot of the guys in here, (including me when the weather isn't so sucky) use Zaino Brothers products.

As far as the spray on wax goes, haven't used it, and have no plans to either.

Yea Zaino was what I was thinking of. Thanks. Well I was just curious about the spray on way to give you that extra water 'sheeding action' for when it rains I mean I like to put a good coat of wax on about every 6 months or so, and I was thinking about using the spray on stuff in between.
