RP,

Made 7 pages on the other post noted above ( just before my post, 1 page here, that's childs play ).

Take a look at the last post on the wiring one, something about beer ?

Looks great, I think you cured my want for one, either that or I'll first try finding the C209 connector, and put it in the overhead console where it belongs on a 2001

A man has to make 110% sure that he's doing the right thing before slicing on his truck. I'm not ashamed to say it; I'm electrically stupid.

Beer. I've already responded. LOL

Good luck on C209. I did find C355 but, wasn't about to follow it. Just easier to run two new wires. Much easier.

Oh yeah, if you can find a flat spot in the overhead console (if you have a moonroof) that you can mount that switch, be my guest. I don't think it'll look right.

"Your still rocks"? Hrrm.... I'm not going to try to translate that. ROFL!

Man, if they had put C209 in the right friggin' spot in the first place, we wouldn't have had much trouble at all! I mean heck, that electrical thread probably would've only gone a mere 4 pages. LOL!

Thanks for the compliment, it is the boreing Silver, but that was by design. Makes it easier to put up with the dirty truck during the winter. Last one was Dark Metalic Blue, PITA to keep clean, always pissed me off. clean it, it would snow, they salt the hell out of the road, and then I had a gray truck again

That was to be yours still rocks, I'm old cut me some slack, my mind moves faster then my hands anymore, even with this damn tiny keybd on my C1 picture book, almost regreted the day I got it, if it was not as handy to pack as it is.

BTW : you are correct, you should be careful when slicing into your truck, but then again with only having an XLT, I can go at it a little more, either that or I have more ***** then brains :devil :

Steve

PS : Poor JMC got the drive to Chicago for the beer, boy did he get screwed :d
