$489 isn't bad but, I've heard they're going cheaper than that...
Hell, who cares... they're worth EVERY LAST PENNY of $500... I wish I had purchased them when they were $800.... these things are incredible.
I L-O-V-E MINE

WT,
Designtech makes 50 watt back up light bulbs in both the 3156 and 1156 configuration. Got em in my Screw and love em!
Hey pw,
Where in Florida are you? I am in Orlando. I have both the headlights and the auxiliary driving lights. I am very glad I got mine, they are definitely worth the money. I'll have pictures up as soon as I wash my truck.

I'll go look for some . I take it the wires don't have a problem with the added wattage.....Then again I guess they're not on for very long are they??....... How much should i expect to pay??

I have them on my Screw as well. I think I paid around $8.00 a piece for them and they are great.

And it would obviously have to be dark for me to see them side by side to mine.

Next weekend as in the 15th? That's too bad because I will be in Gainesville that weekend. If it were this weekend, it would be no problem. I go down there all the time to go to Pointe Orlando. I don't live too close though. I tried to post pictures last night but the site was down, so I will try again tonight.
dufunnel,
Actually, I will be there from mid-afternoon on Wednesday (12th) until Sunday eve (16th).
If we could work something out, I would be really grateful. But, its your schedule thats important. I can do the big roads like OBT, John Young, I-Drive, I4, 410 etc.
I really just need to sit in a truck that has them installed and look at an object in the dark, then sit in my truck looking at a similar object to get the comparrison.
$500 is a lot to spend on some headlights, and I like to touch and feel before buying.

I have no doubt that they will be. I spose I am like pw1981 not wanting to shell out 500 bucks for something I have not seen in person.
BTW, you mentioned above you have seen the Xenarc's for cheaper than $489. Care to share????
Jim
Well, seeing as how the gallery has been down here for several days, I was forced to upload these pictures to FTW. Check them out if you would like to see the HIDs. They aren't great pictures though. I don't have anything to compare them with so it may be hard to tell.
