Weird Noise in Front End
Hey guys... and gals...
I have a 2001 Screw, 5.4 blah blah blah (see my sig for details). For the past couple days, whenever I turn the wheel to the right - while driving - I feel this.. thud, no, not rattle, knocking? Almost like I'm running something over like those little highway thingies on the ground... but there's nothing there.
Damn women can't explain anything right, can we?
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I have 21k miles on it, so I'm sure it's under warranty, but I'm just curious if anyone has had this similar problem?

I have the exact same problem on my 2001 with 35000 mi. I took it to the dealer twice where the can not locate the problem. They took the caliper apart, greased everything, rotated the tires, changed the pads, and turned the rotars. it is not quite as loud but is still there especially when i turn to the right. I think it may be the stock goodyears, so I might get new tires and see if it goes away.

Jenn,
Have a look at this thread I posted some time ago and see if it compares to your situation...

Sounds like it might be a similar sound/problem.

Jenn,
Try this thread. It's under Green crew's Question about the "soft thump, thump thump". This may also be your solution. A cheap one at that !
