Question Wheel size/rotor clearance ?

Anyone have problems with aftermarket wheel sizes clearing the brake rotors ? I was told that 16" may rub the rotors. Not sure why that would be and I haven't seen anything on here to prove otherwise. Just starting to look around for wheels and tires to replace the 17" 10 spokes with a wider and taller combo. And I keep thinking about the clearance.

16's fit fine. It's the 15's that will not clear the rear brakes on the 99 and up F-150's.

Yep. 16's are the standard size wheels on most of the models.

Talking Thanks

Thanks guys. I thought so, but that little bug kept buzzing around saying "you're gonna screw up ! "...

And while the wife is at work, I just happened to view the 4wheelparts website and drool all over the wheel/tire combo's. And better yet, found a store closeby in Orlando! Now that's what I call "fate" ...

Hmm, 4 hrs round trip and then the time for wheel and tire install, just might make it home before she does... Where the he*l is my credit card

Yes, I've been to the store in Orlando and got a few things. By the way, take advantage of their price match. They will match any price out there. I found a cheaper price on my wiper cowl at a no-name internet only store and they matched it!

Save yourself some money.

Thanks du, I may just have to slide over one of these days. Lets see, I could go to Bass Pro Shop, then over to 4wheelparts, and then....
