Glove Box POPPING, Flexing, something

This is my third F150. This one makes this ungodly noise like a rock hitting the windshield. It is coming from the glove box.It happens when either heating or cooling. Seems to go away after it is warm. I have replaced the hinge the switch and the latch. All that is left is the actual door. I have also tried tightening and loosening all the screws. Nothing has helped so far.

I have a wonderful truck and this is real bull****!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I believe there are rubber bumpers on the glovebox door to minimize squeaks. One of these may have fallen off?

I've got a similar popping noise, too. It is just as you describe and I figure it must be the expansion/contraction of the dash pieces as the temperature changes. Don't have any idea how to fix it.

I had the same thing, and decided I was going to find it and put a stop to it. I had my wife drive, and I listened closely down by the glove box. I found that the door panel on the passenger door was rattling down on the bottom by my feet.

I used a strip of rubber that was laying around and jammed it in between the plastic panel and the door. Up until now I have forgotten it ever happened.
