Smile Home-Link

Is anyone familiar with where the Home-Link gets its' power from. On the 2002 SCrew it is mounted on the driver side visor. If its battery powered how would you change it.

It's got wires running to it through the visor. Same power that the lighted mirrors use.

DEAN246,

On my 01 XLT SCrew, I swaped out the stock visor for the Nav ones. The power was taken from a harness in the roof.

So guess you could say it is battery driven, and the change out process is to open the hood, remove the hold downs.....
