Intercooler for N/A engine?

Would it help. I'm thinking that since cold air is key for better combustion, then perhaps having some type of intercooler on a N/A engine would show some benefit. I understand that more heat is created by the air being shoved into the engine via a supercharger but I thought any little improvement may work. Thanks.

An intercooler on a naturally aspirated engine would only be a restriction. The only means of decreasing intake temps would be through nos or perhaps an alcohol/water injection.
