Question Powerdyne install question

I got a good deal on a used powerdyne unit for my 4.6 but I think I'm missing a part. The directions suck so bad that I'm not sure if I'm missing a part or not. It involves the crankshaft pulley, do I discard the stock crankshaft pulley and install a powerdyne pulley then the supercharger pulley on top of that or do I install the supercharger pulley over the top of the stock pulley, If its the earlier I never got this powerdyne pulley - I have the supercharger pulley that mounts on top of this pulley, It looks like the supercharger pulley will mount on the stock crankshaft pulley? Anyone tried this? Where can I get the powerdyne pulley If I need one? thanks alot for the responses

Yes, the powerdyne pulley mounts over the stock crank pulley.

The unit I purchased included a replacement pulley for the crank. It was drilled and threaded to accept the additional pulley for the supercharger. Contact Powerdyne directly for a replacement.

I'd guess that who ever sold it to you kept the crank pulley supplied w/ the unit. It serves its purpose w/o the additional pulley and can be a pain to install/uninstall.

Good luck!

Yep, Same problem I had. The guy I bought my Vortech from left the vortech Harmonic balancer on his truch when he traded it in. I had to buy one from vortech 130.00. When it arived it was in a ford box(ford part).

Question now im really confused

Ive install the powerdyne and I put the S/C pulley over the stock one! It fit and the three holes lined up. Am I ok or do I need to replace the stock pulley? Is the stock pulley the same diameter as this replacement pulley? I don't want to mess up my truck.

jabber,

Give Powerdyne a call to settle this confusion. I could have sworn that the powerdyne bolted up over the stock crank pulley, but I may be mistaken.
