Custom chip

I got a custom chip from Diablo chips and I re-dynoed it. It went from 312 hp to 330 hp and from 405 torque to 410 torque. I am happy I could get this hp just with better tuning. Now the truck is running great and I am ready to take it to the track. I hope to go as fast as the lightnings. Soon I will put on the NO2 then hold on for some real power.

I have a 97 F150 with a vortech supercharger. It makes 10psi. I have a pro-m mass air meter with 36 pound injectors. I also have the Edelbrock headers and a custom exhaust with high flow cat and dyno-max muffler. I have a 3-4 lowering kit. I am either puting on an intercoler or NO2 next. I have not decided yet. I do not have any pics yet because I do not have a camera yet. I will post some when I get one or I can borrow one. I have not gone top the track yet. What can I ecpect to run at the track with the power I made.
Thanks

I too have a 97 which I've just put a Vortech on with a 10lb pully. Next will be the MAS and then I'll install the 30lb injectors that I already have. I was wondering if you got a price on a intercooler I've not been able to find one for our application at Vortech. Did you change your FMU? And also what kit # of no2 would you be thinking of getting to add.
If you would like to see some pics you can go to the owners gallery and it's under the L'il Red Truck by cobrahms. OK?
Thanks

My air fuel ratio is 11 to 1. The chip programer made it safe when he programed it on the dyno. It was originally 8 to 1 before he tuned it. I am going to have my friend do a custom front mount intercoller when I get the cash. I will use a standard NO2 dry kit when I spray it. I have had may NO2 cars in my life and the dry kits always hit harder. I know how to tune it properly because of my experience with it. I will start out with 75 hp and move it up accordingly. I have air fuel ratio gauge and EGT gauge on the car to make sure it does not go lean. Crash what fuel pump do you use on your most radical f-150's. My friend has had problems with his Aeromotive pump overheating in the Miami temperatures and when I step up my fuel system I am not sure what to use.

Hey cobrahms9, there is a new dyno shop in Vegas w/ super low rates. I think it's only $25 for 3 runs, this is unheard of. I don't know if they have A/F equipment, but it sounds like you may need it. Your FMU is prolly a 12:1 unit, you'll need to get a recal kit for your 30 # injectors. The shop is DTEC, I'll try and find the phone #.
