Adding an intercooler 2006 Roush??

Hello all,
I am new to the board but I have lurched for a long time. I finally have some questions that I hope you guys can help me with.

I have a 2006 Roush f-150. It is a non-intercooled version from Roush. I recently got lucky and found an intercooler and a roushcharger only for my truck (after 3 years of searching. LOL). I am planing on just adding the intercooler in the first stage and then look into tuner, injectors, pulley, etc to actually get more from my baby.

I have picked up a degas bottle, but I need to get the other parts to do the install. I found the following PDF

http://www.roushperformance.com/part...008-401633.pdf

on installing the complete kit, but I am unsure what is actually needed just for the intercooler install if the charger is already in place. Here is what I think I will need.
1. intercooler
2. degas bottle
3. heat exchanger
4. electric water pump
5. water hoses for the degas bottle, cooler, heat exchanger and pump
6. gaskets for intake and charger
7. gauges

So on to the questions. Looking at the PDF it gives part numbers. I was wondering if it needs to be these particular parts or can I find aftermarkets that will safely work. Such as the heat exchanger and pump. I am not sure what options are available for the exchanger, but I have read a lot of people using the jabco pumps for the water pump.

1. Does anyone have a part number for a Jabco pump that would suit my needs?
2. Can someone give me some info on heat exchangers and the best place to mount it? I have read where people are moving the exchanger in front of the radiator above the trans cooler.
3. As far as hoses, can I just use standard 3/4" water hose and maybe wrap it in stainless or something to make it look decent? Do I really need the steel tubes that run next to the intake (from the PDF)? I do a lot of metal fab work so I can build brackets to hold the hoses away from the motor and out of the way.
4. Should there be anything to worry about if I am just adding the intercooler with no other mods at this time? I am guessing that I will not need to worry about the tune from Roush that is installed, everything should be as it has been. Please correct me if I am wrong.
5. As far as gauges I have read a lot of different opinions to what everyone uses. Stock from Roush my truck has no gauges to tell me anything other than what came from Ford. I definitely would like to get a vac/boost gauge to start with. Can someone tell me the best gauge setup to use for when I start to collect data for my tune? I have read EGT is good. Not sure about anything else needed. Please advise.

Well that should about cover it. I hope I have given enough info to get started. If you have any questions please ask me and I will tell you whatever I may have missed. Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks cw974x4! I will probably definitely take you up on that. Having some real pics would probably help a lot.

Do you happen to know if anything tune wise needs to be done to just add the intercooler? I am guess nothing will really change other than intake air temp should be lower and that is a plus.

Thanks,
-Sid

The Jabsco part number is 50840-0012.
If you need an intercooler tank/resivoir I have one that I will gladly let go of.
