Just curious how much timing you guys are running at WOT? I heard conflicting reports with some saying 5 degrees and others saying 10 or 15.

Just curious...

FYI I am running a Vortech kit at 10psi (aftercooled).

 

I've seen as low as 11-12 on street tune. She can add up to 5 degrees if she's happy. 15-16 on drag tune and I've seen as much as 17.5 degrees crossing the traps with Torco in the tank making 100 octane. Another run or two down the track and she would have been up to 18 degrees with no problem. 13psi on the Whipple.

 

Ok thanks! I am only seeing 5 degrees at wide open throttle, even partial throttle. I think the timing maps are tuned very conservatively. In my tuners defense he even said as much... he doesn't have a ton of experience with F-150's so started low. I have put him in touch with JDM to sort this out but I think it stands to reason I should be able to pick up a ton of power with a better job on the timing maps...

Anyone else have thoughts? Thanks!
