Finally got my 4.56 gears (Motives) installed front and rear. With my 35" tires the stock gearing was terrible and the truck would go in and out of overdrive on the freeway. The 4.56 gears really make the truck wake up and it is way faster. For those of you running 35's this is the #1 mod to make.

FYI total cost was ~$400 in parts and $600 for the install.

 

Did you install some sort of traction adding differential while you were in the pumpkins or just gears?

 

I'm hoping this is my reaction too! I do have to wait a little bit after my lift to do 4.88s, but I have a feeling I'll really enjoy them.

 

I have the stock LSD which works just fine for me so gears only...
